5-day employees' strike hits Kashmir
Jammu, Mar 10: The work in all the government offices in Kashmir remained paralysed, today, due to the strike by the employees against the anti-people policies of the authorities. Government offices including hospitals and schools in Jammu and Kashmir were, today, hit by the five-day long employees strike announced by the Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) against the anti-people policies of the puppet authorities.
APHC leader not shifted to Srinagar jail
Srinagar, March 10: In Srinagar, the authorities has said that the illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabir Ahmad Shah will not be shifted from a prison in Kathua to the Central jail in Srinagar claiming reasons as the jails in the Kashmir valley were overcrowded.
Justice Yaqoob Mir had directed the authorities on February 26 to shift the detainee following an application filed by Shah's wife Bilquees.

Srinagar, March 11: The work in all the government offices including hospitals and educational institutes in the Kashmir was hit for the third consecutive day, today, due to the strike by the Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) against the anti-employees policies of the authorities.
A strike by nearly half a million government employees in Jammu and Kashmir seeking payment of arrears and a higher retirement age paralysed the administration for the third day Thursday, with teachers also joining the protest.
Nayeem calls for unity among people
Srinagar, March 11: The illegally detained APHC leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir National Front, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has said that the peace and stability can not be restored in South Asia till the Kashmir dispute is resolved amicably through dialogue.
A spokesman of the JKNF in a statement issued in Srinagar said that a delegation met the APHC leader at Srinagar central jail where Nayeen Ahmad Khan conveyed his message to people through them. “People should remain wary of the anti-movement elements and get united for the righteous cause,” he stressed.

No legal, moral justification of Indian occupation
Srinagar, March 11 (KMS): Veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has emphasised that India has no moral and legal justification to continue its occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. Syed Ali Gilani was addressing a big public gathering in Hyderpora after he reached Srinagar from New Delhi, today. He denounced the use of brute force by Indian police against peaceful protestors. The veteran leader asked people to hold peaceful demonstrations tomorrow after Juma prayers against Indian state terrorism.
