11 Feb Srinagar : Jammu and kashmir Salvation movement chairman Zaffar Akber Bhatt paid rich and glowing tributes to one of the iconic leaders of the ongoing resistance movement and Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) founder, Muhammad Maqbool Bhat on his 34th martyrdom anniversary, Zaffar said that for taking the mission of Kashmiri martyrs to the logical conclusion, the people need to remain steadfast and show their complete commitment towards the freedom movement. Stressing that for the past several decades, the Kashmiris have been striving for their just cause of right to self-determination and sacrificing their lives and properties.
Demanding the return of mortal remains of Maqbool Bhat to the Kashmiri nation, Zaffar appealed the emancipated and justice-loving nations and people of the world to take note of the anti-democratic and inhuman tactics adopted by India.
Zaffar Akber has expressed shock over the death of Saima Wani of Shopian, who succumbed to her injures last night in Soura Medical Institute after battling for life for more than three weeks, She died as result of indiscriminate firing “It is because of the huge deployment of forces everywhere in valley that almost every day Valley witnesses killing of civilians and unarmed youths,” it said, adding that “Delhi is trying to kill and crush civilian population demanding fundamental and political rights. Such war crimes are being committed under a well planned conspiracy.”under the garb of AFSPA and other black laws.
On the directions of Zaffar akber bhatt A high level delegation comprised of molvi mudasir, ishaq Ahmad and Adnan Salfi participated in funeral of Saima wani and later visited Deceased residence ,On the occasion delegation members paid glowing tributes to Saima wani and expressed solidarity and sympathy with bereaved family.
