Srinagar 2 Feb/:Chairman Jammu and Kashmir  Salvation Movement Zaffar Akbar Bhat has strongly condemned imposing of  strict restrictions  in Srinagar and Shopian. Authorities had sabotaged the Shopian  Chalo  programme .In a statement said as per the programme people of Kashmir and the resistance  leaders had to gather in south Kashmir’s Shopian  district and pay tributes to the youths of Shopian who  martyred recently and express sympathy, solidarity with their families and people of the area.“However, Zaffar condemned the government’s action of using ‘excessive force to sabotage the Shopian Chalo peaceful programme. He said stopping people  from paying tributes to the martyrs of Shopian  district and expressing solidarity with their families and locals was ‘extreme,

Zaffar Akber has paid rich tributes to recently  martyred youths , expressed solidarity and sympathy with bereaved families, Zaffar demanded immediate revocation of black laws like the black law Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA).

Salvation movement has strongly condemned the police raid on the residence of senior party leader Gazi Javaid Baba and lodging  him in police station Mahraj Gunj ,
