Solidarity with martyr family of Harwan and Langate

 Srinagar September 13, 2018: Jammu & Kashmir Salvation Movement on Thursday condemned the detention of resistance leaders and activists and said that it is extremely unwise to deny political space and muzzle genuine voices. Blaming ruling elite for creating chaos in state, spokesman, said that its party activists including Imtiyaz Ahmad and Ab Rashid were arrested from Srinagar High Court. Releasing details, he said that both the activists were implicated by police against false and fake allegations in year 2010 and were schedule to attend court hearing. They were arrested and immediately shifted to central jail Srinagar, spokesman added. He demanded immediate and unconditional release of activists, blaming authorities for evolving explosive situations in state and high handedness against peaceful citizens, saying that police in night raids are arresting innocent youth, ransacking properties and humiliating inmates.

On the directions of Zafar Akbar, a delegation comprising of Mohammad Sarwar, Nasir Mushtaq, Javed Ahmad and led by Farooq Ahmed, visited martyrs’ families in Harwan and Langate and express solidarity with grieved families.

  Meanwhile Zafar Akbar expressed his solidarity with teacher’s forum and Abdul Qayoom Wani and on his directions party leaders Mohammad Rafiq, Gazi Javid Baba, Mohd Haneef, Nazir Ahmed and Molvi Ab Rashid participated in hunger strike.Zafar Akbar paid his heartfelt tributes to Ompora martyrs on their 8th martyrdom anniversary.   Spokesman
