Salvation aghast against detention of its chairman

 Srinagar, June 30, 2017; Jammu & Kashmir Salvation Movement leaders and activists staged peaceful protest after Friday prayers and demanded immediate release of its chairman Zafar Akbar Bhat.  Zafar was arrested by police a few days back and put him at unknown destination.

Party leaders and activists while protesting its leaders arrest, said that state administration is choking space for peaceful activities. Lashing at administration the leaders said that uncalled and unjustified curbs won’t deter them from pursuing their mission and will raise their voices and represent suppressed people in state.

Protests were led by Farooq Ahmad, Imtiyaz Ahmad ,Molvi Mushtaq, zubair Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad, Javeed Ahmad , Molvi Rashid, Mushtaq Ahmad, held at Sopore, Kulgam, Budgam, Pattan, Srinagar, Pulwama and leaders while addressing the gatherings, the participants demanded immediate release of all detinues. They ridiculed and denounced the fresh arrest spree unleashed by authorities and added that arrogant and unjustified behavior of authorities is the basic cause of present mayhem and uncertainty in Kashmir.
