Sacrifices center-staged Kashmir dispute: Zaffar Akbar Bhat

Srinagar, February 7: In Srinagar, an APHC delegation led by senior hurriyet leader, Zaffar Akber Bhat visited, today, to the house of the martyred 10th class student, Zahid Farooq at Brain Nishat and paid glowing tributes to him and other martyrs of the territory.. Addressing a gathering on the occasion he maintained that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs had centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at the international level.

Bhat while expressing solidarity with the bereaved family also led a big procession shouting pro-freedom slogans to main Chowk Brain Nishat. Bhat while denouncing the killing described it a pre-planned conspiracy against the people of Kashmir and demanded complete demilitarization of troops from the territory. He said that Indian troops were using brute force against the innocent Kashmiris to suppress their just struggle.

He assured the bereaved relatives of Zahid Farooq that the blood of martyrs would not go waste and the people of Kashmir would very soon get rid of Indian bondage.

Senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar described the killing a barbarous act by the troops.

Bhat while coming back to attend APHC meeting was stopped by the troops and police men and attempted to arrest him but he manage to escape on the spot.
