JKSM demands withdrawal of troops and repeal of draconian laws.

Strongly condemning the government forces for targeting militants’ families, Salvation Movement Chairman Zafar Akbar Bhat said that victimizing or arresting relatives of pro-freedom activists will prove counterproductive. Zafar asked state authorities to desist from these cowardice acts as militant families are not connected with activities of their militant relatives. A well-thought-out ploy is being hatched in state to involve society in civil clashes, said he.

He strongly condemned vandalizing properties and thrashing of youth in different areas of south kashmir, saying some underhand sources are adding fuel to fire and people in nook and corner of state are being subjected extreme situations.

He expressed his deep anguish over setting ablaze the residential house of Sha Jahan Sofi in Amshipora Shopian and expressed sympathies with effected family. Meanwhile on the direction of Zafar Akbar Bhat a del imtiyaz ahmed...abdul rashid..farooq ahmed and another deputation led by Mudasir Ahmad Qadiri visited Howoora .Redwani Amshipora and expressed his sympathies with afcected families

Zafar Akbar in his statement while reiterating his pledge to follow the freedom movement, said that through these cowardice acts people of state won’t budge or succumb to pressure tactics and instead will follow their cherished goal till the dawn of freedom sets in. We appeal international community for their cognizance and seek their interference for end to human rights violations, withdrawal of troops and repeal all draconian laws.
