JKLF flays Malik's house arrest

Srinagar, May 9: In Srinagar, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has strongly flayed continued house arrest of its Chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik.
In a press statement, a JKLF spokesman said that Malik was barred from offering Friday prayers. The JKLF chairman is under house arrest for the past 18 days.
Meanwhile, the JKLF, however, continued with its poll boycott campaign in various areas of Baramulla Bandipora and Kupwara districts. Front leader Showkat Ahmad Bhakshi while heading a Front delegation in Rafiabad appealed people to stay away from polls on May 13. He said, the people in Islamabad and Srinagar have shown to the world that they do not believe in so-called elections as a solution to the Kashmir issue. In Kupwara, the Front's poll boycott campaign was led by Dawlat Khan and Rafiq Ahmad war.
