APHCAJK expresses grave concern hr violations in Kashmir

Islamabad, February 08:  In Islamabad, the APHC AJK chapter has expressed  grave concern over the continued human rights  violations and arresting of  Hurriyet leaders in Kashmirr by the authorities and police men.

The APHCAJK, in a meeting chaired by its Convenor, Mahmood Ahmad Saghar in Islamabad, strongly condemned the house arrest of the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and other leaders. The leaders while denounced the illegal detention of Hurriyet leaders including Shabir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Fardous Ahmad Shah. The others participated were Syed Yousuf Naseem, Altaf Ahmad Bhat, Syed Faiz Naqsbandi, Raja Shaheen, Shaikh Mohammad Yaqoob, Altaf Wani, Dr Adul Aala Nisar  Mirza, Abdul Hamid Lone and others. They also expressed concern over the arrest of Hurriyet leader, Zaffar Akbar Bhat,

The APHC AJK urged the world human rights organizations to take cognisance of the rights violations perpetrated by the police men and Indian paramilitary forces in the occupied territory.

.The meeting also called the recent killing of two young students by the police and troops in Srinagar as inhuman and the worst kind of Indian state terrorism in Kashmir.

APHC AJK has expressed gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan for showing solidarity with Kashmiri people in their struggle for right to self-determination.
