APHC pays rich tributes to Basher Ahamd sofi

Srinagar, May 09: In Srinagar, a delegation led by Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq has paid rich tributes to the Bashir Ahmad Sofi alias Professor Saleem, who was deliberately hit and killed by an Indian army vehicle at Khrew Pampore area on Friday.
Mirwaiz, while addressing at the residence of martyr in Khaniyar Srinagar said, “Were youth like Bashir Ahmad have given their precious lives then the on-going righteous movement will definitely reach to its logical conclusion,” adding, “The worst form of state terrorism in Kashmir where its naïve people are subjected to third degree torture at the hands of Indian forces for the sins which they have never committed and is done at the behest of Indian political stooges whose only ambition is to safeguard their chair or to achieve it by all foul means”.
“Politics and Religion are wedded with each other and religious interference in Kashmir cannot be tolerated at any cost thus out of sheer frustration whole of the Srinagar city especially Shar-e-Khas (Down Town) has been converted into a military garrison,” Mirwaiz added,
APHC leader and Acting Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza was accompanying with APHC chairman who offered heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family said that despite India’s tall claims about the biggest democracy of the world contrary to it there in intolerant forces deputed in Kashmir have been left trigger free to render planned genocide in Kashmir and suppress the ongoing freedom struggle.
Meanwhile APHC spokesperson has strongly denounced the continuous illegitimate house arrest of chairman Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Syed Ali Geelani, JKLF Chairman, Mohammad Yaseen Malik, Aga Syed Al-Mosavi Al-Safvi, Zaffar Akber Bhat, Nayeem Ahmad Khan  and Syed Saleem Gilani and  the continue detention of Shabir Ahmad Shah and Shabir Ahmad Dar” APHC spokesperson said.
“It seems that puppet administration is hell-bent to continue the illegal confinement of Shabir Ahmad Shah,” APHC spokesperson said.
